The Bachelor and the Bachelorette

Nothing much happens around here. I might have started this blog a little bit too early. I'm still waiting around. Waiting in a room too full of stuff, waiting for a smile, a hug, and most of all, a phonecall that we can finally move into our new apartment. Time goes too slow. I feel too stressed. How will it all work out?

We have no bed yet. No couch. No kitchen stuff. No wardrobe. No bathroom stuff.
What do we have? Books. Books. Books. And PC's and Macs..A beamer/projector and biiiig screen. Geekery all around.

Next week on Friday my parents will come for a visit. For a week. I really hope we'll have moved by then. The logistics of it all makes my head hurt.

Last tuesday my boyfriends got his Bachelor Degree. Today his Master Studies have started. Today I signed up for a Masters Program in Comparative Religion. There's something wrong with me. Like seriously wrong.

I'm still looking for a job. If you have any ideas, tips, whatever, please let me know.

 We're joking about our Bachelor Degrees. I got mine 5 years ago. I'm the sheep, as I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and he's got a Bachelor of Science (BS) which basically just means Bullshit!

I really hope that this was the last weekend that we'll live here. Weekends here make me moody. The house is full of people, bathroom is occupied day and night, which gives me lots of anxiety, and the not being able to cook what I want is always a bit harder on those days...

Saturday evening we spent in a Pub, right behind our what-will-be-our-new-appartment in the middle of our very small countryside town, celebrating a friends phd. It was fun, an open bar all evening long ( I could order whatever I wanted to; which was nice), barbecue, and awesome chocolate mousse cake. As always when I get together with bf's friends, it can get a little out of hand as soon as too much alcohol has been imbibed. No, not in that way. This friend circle consists of smart, brilliant young single male geeks not very used to the company of women or at least not someone who shares their interests and music taste. Evenings starting out with everyone too shy to say something, progressing to interesting discussions most often end in serenades about my face and a lot of hugs. I'm not always comfortable with that.

Gah, now I have to go study..css has to be applied on le web-design class stuff thingy whatever..

Bonnd Girl - Photo excursion

Last Friday was another 'Take Girlfriend to Work Day'. What? Those don't exist you say? Well, it would be nice if they did. Sometimes. But I digress. I spent the morning walking along the Rhein, people-watching, freezing and being attached to my phone, twitter to be exact. 

After a nice lunch of salad, sushi, fish and cheese with boyfriend, I once again went outside, this time to freeze and read. I sat myself down on a bench, located in the sun surrounded by nature and proceeded to read. Until I got bored. Until my ass hurt. Until I started to freeze again. So I got up and went on an impromptu walk through the park. And I took pictures. Lots of pictures.
